BEAUTY Bulletin, a South African beauty review network for women has awarded R10 000 to model Mojabeng Ndebele Senekal for being the best Impulse Instagram promoter.

Senekal was among more than 40 models from around South Africa who were required to engage their followers in Instagram and influence them to consider the Impulse perfume.

Senekal was recently chosen to be an influencer for Boity Impulse, a body spray created by South African television personality Boity Thulo and perfume and deodorant brand Impulse South Africa.

To enter the competition, each of the models had to share the one impulse fragrance that truly represented who they are and bring out their own personality and style.

“I made a lot of social media posts about the brand because to be a good influencer I have to engage my followers and inform them about the brand I am promoting,” Senekal told this paper.

She said Impulse was trying to build a model who breaks boundaries and does not conform to society’s definition of a woman of a certain age.

“It showed that girls can go out there and have fun with life and I came out to be the best one among others,” Senekal said.

She said that they had to share their unique beauty, voice, power and their self-expression with the Impulse perfume.

Senekal told the Xpress People that she would invest her prize into her cleaning supplies business, which she recently started as well as her modeling career.

“I started a cleaning supplies business in June this year and this money comes at a time when I want to grow it and make it thrive so I will invest most of it into the venture,” Senekal said.
