LENYORA hitmaker, Thebe ‘The Chizboy’ Mogane is billed to perform at Ba.One’s Bonfire Nite pencilled in for the eve of His Majesty King Letsie III’s birthday on Tuesday.
This will be the singer’s debut performance at the bar.
His last appearance in the country was at the star-studded Lesotho Times Fanfest last November where he left revellers begging for more.
Ba.One manager Steven Mhike aka Mugabe, said they decided to bring Thebe because they were aware of his impact on revelers considering that he has been in the music industry for a long time.
“Thebe has been featured by several artistes lately and with every track, everyone anticipates the Thebe verse,” Mugabe said.
“In the entertainment business one has to know their customers and satisfy them and Ba.One is known mostly for matured young adults who are looking for a good time.
“Thebe has been in the industry for many years and a lot of people can relate with him as he is able to accommodate the young and the old because of his many hits which are relevant to them,” he said.
Mugabe said they chose the eve of His Majesty King Letsie III’s birthday because they are aware that people will be able to go out and have a good time without worrying about waking up for work the next day.
Born in Polokwane Limpopo, Thebe is a performing artiste, composer, producer and a businessman. After his sound engineering studies, all Thebe wanted was to work behind the scenes but fate wouldn’t let him and since 1995, he has been releasing songs such as Lenyora, Bula Boot and the recent Ayepyep where he was featured by DJ Sumbody together with DJ Tira, and Emza.
