Bhudaza album out next month

’Matšei Moloi

MASERU — Local jazz musician Bhudaza Mapefane’s new and third album is on the way. Mapefane has promised to release the new album, Likhomo, by early next month. “The message contained in this album is mainly about facing reality,” Mapefane told Xpress People.

“People should do things the way they should be done.” He said the album had 11 tracks. “I love all the songs on the album,” he said.

However, Mapefane singled out four tracks from Likhomo which he thinks might become the most popular on the album. The songs are Likhomo, I sa Ngoana ho Ntataé, Supernatural Power and Chelete ea e Baka Taba. Mapefane said he thought the new release was likely

to sell well just like Bo-Mapefane, his first album.

“I trust this album,” he said. “I think this album contains some of my best songs and will sell just like the first album.” Mapefane said he worked with Thato Mokoena, Khotso Thahane and Tšepo Tšola to produce Likhomo. “We sang Ea Itšepelang with Tšepo Tšola,” he said. His first two albums were Bo-Mapefane and Mohokare.
