“Our Love Story” competition a huge success

Cupid’s arrow struck true this Valentine’s Day as the Lesotho Times and Sunday Express celebrated romance with the much-loved “Our Love Story” competition.

The contest, hosted on the Lesotho Times Facebook page, invited participants to share their love stories. Entries were open from Tuesday till Thursday midnight. The top three entries with the most likes by midnight on Friday were crowned the winners.

Three couples emerged victorious, receiving fabulous prizes aimed at sparking joy and creating lasting memories. The competition was made possible through partnerships with Scenery Guest House and Dona@Balos Chef and Hospitality School.

The grand prize—a romantic dinner and a one-night stay at the stunning Scenery Guest House—went to Pontšo Limeko and her partner with 4.6k likes. Overjoyed, Ms Limeko shared, “We are absolutely thrilled! This is the perfect way to celebrate our love and create a memory we’ll cherish forever.”

The second prize, a luxurious one-night stay at Scenery Guest House, was awarded to Likonelo Princess and her partner with 4.5k likes. Expressing their excitement, the couple said, “We can’t wait to escape for a night and reconnect. Thank you, Lesotho Times!”

The third prize—a delightful M1500 hamper courtesy of the Lesotho Times—was claimed by Pitso Mosala with 3.2 likes. The hamper, packed with chocolates, flowers, and a spa treatment, promises to enhance their Valentine’s Day celebrations. Grateful for the gift, Pitso remarked, “This hamper is such a lovely surprise! We’re so grateful for the Lesotho Times’ generosity.”

The Lesotho Times and Sunday Express extend warm wishes to all couples this Valentine’s Day and look forward to celebrating love and community for years to come.
