…hosts its annual Cookmaster Competition

SCRUMPTIOUS chicken outlet, KFC Lesotho, has once again showcased its commitment to culinary excellence and staff appreciation through its much-anticipated annual Cookmaster Competition.
The event, designed to celebrate the skill, passion, and dedication of the restaurant’s culinary team, culminated in an exciting showdown that saw Tlali Moseme crowned the KFC Lesotho Cookmaster this past week at an event held at KFC Maseru Mall.
Mr Moseme is no newcomer to excellence as he was crowned the 2023 African Cookmaster.
The victory not only earned him the prestigious title but also a cash prize of M5000 and an exclusive dinner with the management of Baobab Lesotho.
In his emotional acceptance speech, Mr Moseme expressed heartfelt gratitude to the KFC team.
“As the Cookmaster of this organisation and the African Cookmaster of 2023, I am truly overwhelmed. I have run out of words to thank the KFC team for their unwavering love and support.
“It is their encouragement that continually fuels my passion and helps me perfect my craft, especially in mastering the art of cooking chicken,” Mr Moseme said.
The Cookmaster Competition highlights KFC Lesotho’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
By recognising top performers like Mr Moseme, the company continues to raise the bar in culinary innovation and service delivery, motivating its staff to reach greater heights.
Also in attendance was Trymore Machimo, Chief Operations Officer of Baobab Lesotho and South Africa, KFC Lesotho’s parent company. Mr Machimo emphasized the importance of celebrating the staff, as they are the backbone of the restaurant’s success.
