LOCAL events company Climax Lifestyle will host a welcome party for incoming students at the National University of Lesotho’s (NUL) Machabeng Stadium in Roma on 2 September this year.
Dubbed the Freshers Week: The Ultimate Freshman Experience, the entertainment line-up has over 15 DJs and it is sponsored by Bochaba Evolution and Avani Lesotho.
South African artiste, DJ PH, as well as local acts, DJ Dee Pee, Afro DJ, Lym, Nine24, Box Fr3sh, Lobby, Smooth and Katz are all expected to entertain the students.
Climax Lifestyle Executive Director, Leshoboro Makhanyane, said the event would “breathe new life to the local entertainment scene, especially for tertiary students”.
“We are a new company so we want to bring change in the event planning business; as well as give NUL student an experience they will remember,” Mr Makhanyane said.
“Climax Lifestyle is made up of former NUL students and we hope to revive the spirit of fun that the university once had. It is important to host an event that is a cut above the rest. We hope this will be a night to remember.”
He also said that NUL would provide tight security and movement around the campus will be restricted and closely monitored to ensure everyone was safe.
Climax Lifestyle Marketing Director, Lehlohonolo Masupha, said they hoped “to make this an annual event that the public can look forward to every year and we hope to do other events in future”.
Tickets for the event are available at Computicket, Shoprite at M100 for general sitting and M350 for the VIP section. Gates open at 4pm.
