THE police have launched a manhunt for Lebohang Rantšo (37) in connection with 15 murder cases in both Lesotho and South Africa.

Rantšo is suspected to be the mastermind of the gang wars in Sehlabeng-sa-Matsieng which left scores of people dead and houses burnt down in the village.

Police spokesperson, Senior Inspector Clifford Molefe, appealed to members of the public this past week to assist with information on Rantšo’s whereabouts.

“We are looking for a 37-year old Mosotho man, Lebohang Rantšo, in connection with 10 murder cases in Lesotho and five in South Africa,” Sen Insp Molefe said.

“We are appealing to anyone who might know or has seen this man to report the matter to the police immediately. We ask that people must not approach this man as he is dangerous. They must report him to the police immediately so that he can be arrested.”
