RADIO personality Quizy is set to hold a motivational seminar for men on 4 October this year in Moshoeshoe II, Maseru.
Dubbed Man in the Making and aimed at instilling a positive mindset, the seminar will feature several high profile speakers.
These include musician and motivational speaker Mookho Moqhali, lawyer and entrepreneur Letuka Molati, radio presenter and businesswoman Mamolemo (Connie) Sejanamane, National University of Lesotho pharmacy lecturer Lekotoane Namole as well as businesswoman and motivational speaker Nozipho Nonyana.
Quizy said this was a pilot project and depending on the response, more seminars would be held in future.
“The event aims to embrace men as we have observed that there are few activities or initiatives for them to articulate their issues and have them addressed. So if we get a good response, we will host the seminars on a quarterly basis,” he said in an interview this week.
Local artists Ghetto Iz, Rhythm Child, T Mech, Sthola, Heartbreaks and SFG are among those expected to provide entertainment.
The event is scheduled to start at 9am until late afternoon. Learners in school uniform will be allowed to attend free of charge.
