MASERU – Local information and communication technology company Computer Business Solutions (CBS) recognised four of its longest serving employees as it celebrated its 15th anniversary this week.
Managing director Mohlalefi Sefika, speaking at the event, attributed CBS’ long standing success to the employees’ committed efforts at striving for excellence.
“Our employees provide exceptional service. They are so devoted to their jobs that they sometimes stay very late just to get the job done”, said Sefika.
“We believe in earning money from happy clients who are getting the best value and service, that is our motto”, he added.
Four employees recognised for having been with the company for ten years or longer each received cheques for M3 000.
Two more employees, ‘Malichaba Monese and Nthabiseng Mokhatla were hailed as revenue champions for exceeding their revenue targets by ninety percent.
Thabiso Pakela received the award for providing exceptional customer service.
On behalf of the employees, Mpho Ramphobole who has been with the firm for ten years said CBS had come a long way adding that the employees and management had become one big family.
“CBS is where it is today because of Dr Sefika’s outstanding leadership. He is not just a boss but also a father and mentor to us all”, Ramphobole said.
Going forward Sefika said the firm would endeavour to move further up the value chain by continually improving quality and innovating so they can differentiate themselves in the heavily saturated IT market.
In conclusion, he thanked clients for having supported CBS throughout its 15-year journey and urged all to grow ambitions and act to change Lesotho.
