Actress and socialite Khanyi Mbau has got herself into some hot water after making a controversial joke at the Comedy Central Roast of Kenny Kunene  about Oscar Pistorius and Reeva Steenkamp.
Celebrity comedy roasts are known for their scandalous humour and jokes. Comedian John Vlismas, Tumi Morake, Afrikaans rapper Jack Parow, Jacaranda FM presenter Rian van Heerden and radio personality Dineo Ranaka all took part in the roast of businessman Kunene.

According to City Press, Mbau caused a stir with her joke about Pistorius, who is currently on trial.
“If I woke up next to you at 3am on Valentine’s Day, I put it to you, you wouldn’t make it to the toilet,” Mbau said on the show.

The joke was a reference to the night Pistorius shot and killed his girlfriend at his home in Pretoria as well as the infamous line that Pistorius’s lawyer Barry Roux said in court.
Mbau faced heavy criticism on Twitter for her joke.

The account @JusticeForReeva tweeted: “Khanye [sic] Mbau and #RoastZA this is not a joke!”
The Comedy Central Roast of Kenny Kunene will be repeated on channel 122 on Friday at 8.55pm, Saturday at 9.05pm and Sunday at 9pm. — Zalebs.
