More rain expected

MASERU — The Lesotho Meteorological Services yesterday projected more rainfall over the next two months.

Retšepile Neko, a meteorologist, said normal to above-normal rainfall was expected over the entire country until March.

“We are expecting more rains, which are going to be normal and also on the heavier side in some parts of the country,” Neko said.

He said temperatures are also expected to be hotter than normal in some parts of the country.

Sunday 12th

Partly cloudy and hot with a chance (20 percent) of isolated thundershowers in the north-eastern areas.

Wind: Moderate north-easterly.

 

Monday 13th

Partly cloudy and hot with a chance (30 percent) of isolated thundershowers in the north-eastern areas.

Wind: Moderate north-easterly.

 

Tuesday 10th 

Partly cloudy and warm with a possibility (30 percent) of isolated rain and thundershowers.

Wind: Moderate westerly.

 

Wednesday 11th 

Partly cloudy and warm with a chance (40 percent) of scattered rain and thundershowers.

Wind: Moderate north-westerly.
