SHOWBIZ personality Mavele and the three-member Heart Breakers dance outfit will perform at Saturday’s third Mochini Annual All White Affair Celebration in Clocolan, Free State province.

They will perform alongside 30 South African artistes such as Dj Finzo, Ba2cada, DJ Lovers, Shaun Dihoro, MC Fire, Leewizer, DJ Nic, Sir Cue, Doshka Milano Boy, Maestro T and Dj Mellow.

The event kicks off in the morning with a family picnic and light music with the live performances set for 3pm.

“The aim is to cater for whole families, hence the picnic. The official music festival will start at 3pm,” event organiser Michael Mochini told Xpress People this week.

“We adopted the all-white theme from rapper Da Les’ annual show. I attended it and saw that it was classy, promotes cleanliness and attracts responsible patrons. There will be 32 artists under one roof therefore we promise people the best entertainment ever,” he said.

Preparations started back in July with Mavele and Superstar DJ Vesta taking part in a tour of the Free State province. Vesta was unable to attend subsequent build-up shows hence the decision to rope in Heart Breakers.

“We have had a superb journey with Mavele and it was unfortunate that Vesta had to focus on his exams. However, Mavele introduced me to these three dancers (Heart Breakers) and we featured them during the tour of Thaba Nchu. Their superb moves compelled us to re-engage for the main event.

“After my visit to Lesotho last weekend to promote the show, I have been receiving several portfolios from local artistes which I found very impressive.

“Unfortunately, it is too late to add them to this show but I promise that I will map out a way to accommodate different acts,” he said.

For his part, Mavele said he was humbled by the opportunity opened up for him in South Africa by the upcoming event.

“Mochini has given me the best platform to build my brand in South Africa as I have also been booked to grace Taboo in Bloemfontein in October. We had great experiences and I am grateful,” Mavele said.

“I also opened doors for other local artists that he is already working with like Heart Breakers and Vesta. Others will be brought on board. I believe this is just the beginning of greater things to follow,” he added.
