Lucky Econet customer wins M150k prize

NTHETHE Molefi Tšosane (35) walked away with M150 000 in Econet’s ongoing Matsebetsebe share a million campaign in a draw held on Friday last week.

Mr Tšosane, a sales marketer from a local transport company said that he was at work and happened to be listening to the radio on that blessed day when he received a call that changed his life.

“When I was told that I have won M150 000, I could not believe it and honestly thought it was a scam. I did not sleep well on that Friday night as I was scared that I might wake and find out that it was just a dream,” he said.

He said that he has been playing the Matsebetsebe share a million for a month now using all the available methods of entering. That is he recharged, deposited money into his EcoCash wallet and played the Matsebetsebe question and answer trivia game.

“Even though I kept on playing Matsebetsebe, I didn’t think that I could win this much, I feel so happy and blessed especially because I already know what I am going to do with the money,” said Mr Tšosane.

He thanked Econet for helping him fulfilling his dreams and said that he is going to invest most of the money for his children’s education while using some to renovate his home.

On behalf of Econet, Chief Commercial Officer, Maurice Newa congratulated Mr Tšosane on his winnings. “We are continuing to change the lives of our customers through simple recharges, cash-ins and edutainment trivia game,” said Mr Newa.

Mr Newa said that Econet also equips its customers with knowledge gained from answering the Matsebetsebe questions.

Matsebetsebe share a Million is a promotion which offers Econet customers countless opportunities to win Kwese TV kits and cash through recharges, SMSes and EcoCash deposits on a daily basis from Mondays to Fridays.
