AVANI Maseru Hotel is set to ignite the love spark on Valentine’s Day with a special dinner featuring pop classic quartet Kingdom Classics.

The hotel group’s Promotions Manager, Mabahlakoana Motemekoane, told Xpress People the dinner was meant to give couples an opportunity to celebrate their love.

“Valentine’s Day is a time of the year in which the entire world celebrates love. So, we are helping our customers share that special time under the ambience of love,” she said this past week.

“We have been holding Valentine’s Day celebrations over the years, except for last year. We always try to give our clients a unique experience to ensure we meet their expectations.”

Apart from the exquisite buffet dinner, Motemekoane said couples could look forward to a sumptuous desert with “lots of chocolates and strawberries”.

“Couples will also have the option of ending their romantic night in style by booking a room for the special price of M995 which also includes breakfast for two,” she said.

On their part, the Kingdom Classics promised a performance in keeping with the theme of the night.

“Even though we mostly perform the same songs, we always add a unique flavour to ensure revelers are never unsatisfied or bored,” said Kingdom Classics member Tuoe Hantši.

“We will not have a separate Valentine’s Day show like in the past, so our fans better not miss out.

“Since it is the month of love, Kingdom Classics will perform romantic songs which heal, comfort and tell stories of affection. We will perform 20 western pop classic songs including three translated into Sesotho.”
