Ultimate Music Awards finalists revealed

ULTIMATE FM on Friday announced finalists who will compete for the main prize in each of the 15 categories of the Ultimate Music Awards which will be held at ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre on 18 November this year.
The top three finalists were announced in all the categories except for the Song of the Year category which has five finalists as it already had the most number of nominees (15) while others ranged between eight and 10.
The voting continues for those who are still in the race and they will be closed on the day of the awards at 4pm while the song of the year category will be closed 15 minutes before the announcement of the winner.

The government-owned radio station also revealed the line-up of artistes that will perform at the grand finale. They include Selimo Thabane, Mookho, Skebza D, Ltore, Heartbreakers, Cablonice, Gudoza, Step-Up Dance Crew, Da-Starr, Linkeng, J Cob, Rabots’o le Semanyane, Juvy, Stlofa and ATI from Botswana and South Africa’s Sjava, Naak Musiq. MCs Ms Kiva and Mr Kaofela.
The list of sponsors include Vodacom Lesotho, Standard Lesotho Bank, Metropolitan, Alliance Insurance, M&N Security, Victoria Hotel and Bashoeshoe Pele as well as Ministry of Tourism, Environment and Culture and Ministry of Communications, Science and Technology.
