TWO Johannesburg-based sisters are set to host an inspirational lifestyle seminar dubbed Stylish and Elegant on 27 September at Pioneer Mall in Maseru.
Born and bred in Serutle, Butha Buthe, the twin sisters, Tšeliso and Matšeliso Thella, attended St Agnes High School and later on studied at the University of Johannesburg where they obtained degrees in Retail Marketing.
In 2010, the Thella twins formed the entity TTwins Productions with three divisions; TTwins Sunglasses, TTwins Clothing and TTwins Promotions. The sunglasses are manufactured in Italy, catering for both adults and kids, while the clothing section offers a wide variety and assortment of T-shirts, head gear and hoodies.
According to the sisters, they came up with the event to share with their compatriots the challenges they have faced in their entrepreneurial journey and inspire. Other keynote speakers will include luminaries in other fields.
“We will be bringing different personalities whom we believe are inspirational and have managed to put Lesotho on the map in terms of their careers or talents,” the Thella twins said this week.
“The whole purpose of the event is to motivate Basotho and share the difficulties and happy moments in the journey to success.”
Among the speakers is Liteboho Modise who plays Teboho in South African soapie Muvhango, sprint king Mosito Lehata, beauty queen Karabelo Mokoallo, comedian Chris Mapane and award-winning chef Ska Moteane. They will delve in such topics as personal branding, self-confidence, building self-image in fashion and beauty, entrepreneurship, women in business, healthy lifestyle (nutrition and fitness) and motivational speeches.
“The event will give us the opportunity to have personal contact with Basotho, to share ideas around how we can brand ourselves and build one another through positive lifestyle,” explained the twins.
“We are making it possible for Basotho to meet and greet their own inspirational personalities.”
South African Music Award winner, rapper Dunamis, and Mapane will provide entertainment.
