MASERU — Nearly a thousand revellers on Friday thronged Litaleng for an all-night bash starring the popular DJ Tira.
The 34-year-old Durbanite, born Mthokozisi Khathi, sent the crowd gaga when he took over the decks around 2am.
He pumped out house tunes that kept the revellers busy on the dance floor.
Although the South African entertainer was the main attraction, Swaziland’s famed hip-hop crew Mozaik and Krtc did an exceptionally good job.
The award-winning duo also took the opportunity to unveil their new album, Siyinqaba, in Lesotho.
“We are very excited that today we are introducing our album in Lesotho,” Mozaik said.
“It was only two weeks when this album won the best album of the year in the Tihlabane Music Awards in Swaziland and we are very happy to be in Lesotho during this time of rejoicing.”
Also from Swaziland were DJs Mixmash and Switch, while local talent was represented by Tseko, Max on The Decks, Mora and DJ Angca.
