MASERU — The annual fun-filled Tertiary Nite will once again take centre stage at Ya
Rona, Masianokeng, on February 15.
According to the organiser Tello ‘Dallas-T’ Leballo, the event, especially the fourth edition, is aimed at acknowledging the tertiary education sector in Lesotho, thus bringing together students from different institutions of higher learning in an environment of fun.
“It has somehow been the norm to have Tertiary Night back in town different institutions engaging in fights whenever they met, mostly during sporting activities. We are trying to break that
culture and create a peaceful, joyous environment,” Leballo said.
He said when the event was first introduced many thought it was impossible to have students from the different often warring institutes in one place.
Leballo said the event was organised collaboratively by his company Stocksweet Entertainment and the different institutions’ student representatives.
“This is a collaboration of my company Stocksweet Entertainment with student representatives from different institutions,” he said.
‘Dallas T’ said the show was gradually gaining momentum as the event to attend, adding that this year they were going to incorporate a variety of activities, such as outdoor activities.
There will also be an array of high-profile deejays who will keep the students on the dance floor throughout the night.
Behind the decks the crowd will see DJ Tseko, Mekonko, Thizozo, Razor Da Soul, Thabbie, Kopper, Sir Schaba, Bootz, Tsepzadj, Napolinadj, Smallzdadj and Dallas T himself doing what they know best — making people dance!
