Taxi crash bodies identified

MASERU — All bodies of passengers who died in a taxi accident between Senekal and Steynsrus in the Free State have been identified, reports Lena. The Press Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, Thabo Thakalekoala, said some families who lost their loved ones in the accident went to Bethlehem on Friday to arrange for the repatriation of their relatives’ remains.
“The deceased came from Koro-koro, Ha Leqele, Liphiring Khubetsoana, Ha Shale, Ha Potsane Mohale´s hoek and Ha Abia,” he said.

Thakalekoala said transport to the Bethlehem mortuary was arranged by the Manyatseng Taxi Association. He said the government will not help bury the deceased as they were gainfully employed. Nine people died in the accident that happened on March 28.
