Local entertainment outfit, Mindset Music, will host Swaziland disc spinner DJ Peace at swanky joint Litaleng on Friday.

DJ Peace has recently dropped his sophomore 12-track album Masterpiece Vol 2 and the event will be part of his album tour. The commercial House deejay will be accompanied by DJ Brett, a former PCFM presenter who now works for South African radio station OFM. They will be supported by locals Hunky D, Khebza, Razor Da Soul and Pablo DJ, to name a few.

One of the organisers, Hunky D, told Xpress People on Wednesday that as much as it is meant to entertain fans with good music, the event is also intended to strengthen international relations.
“Our mission is to break the monotony of bracketing our music within the country but break the boundaries and give other nations a taste of what we have here.
“We have always had artistes from other nations land bookings here in Lesotho, yet only a few us manage to make it to countries such as South Africa.
“We are bringing DJ Peace here because we have developed a good working relationship with him since 2012 and his first visit to Maseru was last year in August when he played at Times Cafe.
“Through our mutual relations with DJ Peace, hopefully, we will perform in two events in Swaziland before the end of the year. We will randomly select local deejays to send there and show what Lesotho can offer and it will be our first gig outside the country,” said Hunky D.

The Mindset Music deejay further told Xpress People they are eyeing Botswana sometime in December and usher party fanatics there into the year 2015 if everything goes according to plan.
This will not be the end of them as they are intending to foray into the rest of Africa and beyond.

Mindset Music is well known for hosting four annual rocking bashes in Maseru, the New Year’s Day Picnic on January 1, Spring Fiesta during Independence holidays, High School Pens Down in November and the Last Sunday Session held on the last Sunday of the year. Looking at their calender of events, this is a must never miss for House fanatics and those keen to enjoy a night out.
