EVERYBODY demands change, either from others or from themselves but how many end up getting the change that they wish? I believe change should be inspired and not demanded otherwise we are trying to fake our fate, something that has to happen one way or the other. Yes, summer bodies are built in winter but this could mean one of two things for you, pertaining to what your ideal summer body is;
- You are exercising and are following the perfect healthy diet
- You are not exercising but are stuffing yourself with all the unhealthy foods that this earth holds
Your ideal summer body should be the type you don’t wish you could take off your clothing for the whole world to see, but the type that is noticed even in a baggy old jacket. So point one is your safety. You may get tempted to drop the exercising because the days are slowly drawing in and temperatures are dropping. Please do not be that naïve, do not succumb to such small challenges. Stay active throughout autumn and winter to beat those seasonal blues, you will feel on top of the world. Regular exercise will make you feel more energetic, which should make getting out of your warm bed easier especially in cold dark mornings. You may also be tempted to eat more during the colder months but exercising will help you manage your weight better and keep in shape. Choose an activity that you enjoy yoga, rope skipping, weight lifting maybe, and then add these 3 stomach-exercise routines;
Seated crunches- 30 reps
Single leg raise- 30 reps per leg
Sit ups – 60 reps with a 10 second interval after the first 30 reps
Keep at this every day, take a day or two off every other week and your summer body will be everyone’s motivation, now you will have inspired change.
