MASERU — One of South Africa’s top radio presenters and disc jockey Nyakallo “Ba2cada” Leine, is set to rock Leribe at the Trio Entertainment bash this Saturday.
Ba2cada, who co-hosts the Re A Kubeletsa programme at Lesedi FM, will be the show’s master of ceremony.
Ba2cada, who rose to stardom when he joined Lesedi FM in early 2000, was best kwaito album judge for the 2007 South African Music Awards.
He also features in the house song by Seipati “Twasa” Seoke of Lesedi FM.
Leine is arguably Lesotho’s most favourite Lesedi FM presenter, both among the youths and adults.
He is normally identified with the word Bosso (Boss) while on radio and gained the moniker Ba2cada in 1999 from his favourite song of the same title.
Trio Entertainment organiser, DJ Tseko Mamonyane, confirmed the developments to Xpress People.
“Ba2cada is going to be the MC at Trio Entertainment, which will be held in Leribe on November 14,” DJ Tseko said.
He said the South African will be among other local artistes that will be performing at the function.
“Ba2cada is going to perform among local artistes like Fatere, Lefate and Senqu Jazz Band,” he said.
He added Trio Entertainment would be going into different districts to make sure supporters are exposed to new summer-season music, before December.
“We are going throughout the country to entertain and expose our supporters to the new music, which will be played during the festival,” he said.
