MASERU — The fixtures for the 2009/10 Buddie Premier League season have finally been released.
The long-awaited campaign kicks off on Saturday.
The opening game of the season will be played at the Central Prisons where LCS will host Likhopo before MGC Supa 8 champions LMPS tackle Majantja on the same pitch later on.
The opening weekend programme will be concluded on Sunday.
Champions Lioli begin their defence by returning to the scene of their championship victory when Tse Nala travel to Sebothoane to face Joy.
Certainly there is no shortage of intriguing ties with Rovers starting their campaign against arch-rivals Lerotholi in Roma while there is another derby in Leribe with Linare hosting St Monica’s Mphatlalatsane in Hlotse.
In Mazenod, Swallows will kick off their campaign by welcoming LDF.
But most eyes will be on the two promoted sides — Nyenye Rovers and Bantu. Both have been rewarded with opening weekend home games with Rovers hosting Matlama and Bantu welcoming Butha-Buthe Roses to Mafeteng.
