FORMER senior national soccer team coach, Leslie Notši, has been appointed Linare head coach.

Notši has signed a three-year deal with the Tse Tala.

Linare announced the appointment this weekend.

He is replacing former coach, Teboho Moloi, who stepped down last month due to commitments in his native South Africa.

All along, the team was under the leadership of assistant coach, Motlatsi Thibinyane, who will also assist Notši.

“The Linare management has reached an agreement with Leslie Notši to become our head coach,” Linare said in a press statement this weekend.

“We signed a three-year contract with him, and he will be replacing former coach Teboho Moloi. Notši is an experienced coach having coached locally and outside the country and we are happy to have him.”

The team said it was confident that Notši would lead the team to success and help it win some trophies.

Notši was unveiled to the players yesterday before his first game against CCX at Lesotho Agricultural College (LAC) in Hlotse.

The former Kick4Life coach is joining Linare after resigning from his Lesotho Football Association (LeFA) technical director post this week.

The association announced his resignation on Wednesday saying he was taking on new opportunities.

He was appointed to the position in 2018 replacing former incumbent, Lehlohonolo Thotanyana.
