MASERU — This year’s netball championships will be played from August 5 to 7 at the Lesotho Correctional Services (LCS) grounds.
The tournament will see the crowning of the country’s champions in both the women’s and men’s categories.
Six teams are expected to battle it out for the women’s crown. These are — the Lesotho Defence Force (LDF) and Lerotholi Polytechnic from the north zone, Letsie High School and Raiders from the central zone and Lesotho Correctional Services (LCS) and Leribe LMPS from the southern zone.
In the men’s final, LCS, LDF, Lerotholi and Thetsane Netball Club will vie for the 2011 crown.
The tournament will also see three district sides, Senqu Netball Club from Mokhotlong, Qacha’s Nek and Berea LMPS — fight for the district title.
