Molatoli says Mothoana will make the grade win in Europe

MASERU — Likhopo owner, Bishop Molatoli, says he is confident that Bokang Mothoana will make the grade at Switzerland’s top side FC Zurich.
Mothoana, a talented left-footed midfielder who worked under Molatoli in the past, has been undergoing trials at FC Zurich since last week.
“He is a brave player and I’m confident his talent will win him a dream move to play in Europe,” Molatoli said.
“There is no doubt that he is one of the best players in the country and deserves to be plying his trade in some of the best leagues around the world.”
Likhopo recently signed a two-year M2 million sponsorship deal with Matekane Group Of companies (MGC) and Molatoli said they will be happy to welcome back their star player if things don’t go well for him in Europe.
“It’s really tough here, but I know what I came to do and will continue to work hard with the hope that my hard work will pay off in the end,” Mothoana said.
Mothoana told the Sunday Express that he is happy with his progress since beginning trials last week.
“I think I have done fairly well and the technical team here has been impressed with what they have seen in my abilities,” said the Likuena star player.
The former Union Sportive Monastir player will miss tri-nations’ tournament and is only expected in the country later next week.
Mothoana has had two spells with the Tunisian side Monastir. He first joined them in 2007 along with Likuena captain Moitheri Ntobo.
The duo left the club in 2009 after the Tunisian side went through a bad financial patch.
US Monastir later called Mothoana back and he helped them win promotion back to the Tunisia premier league last season.
