LIOLI coach Mosholi Mokhothu is confident that his charges will be back to their winning ways when they take on Kick4Life in a Vodacom Premier League tie at Maputsoe DIFA Ground this afternoon.

Tse Nala last won a match three weeks ago when they thumped Manonyane 6-1 but have since found the going tough drawing twice with Likhopo and LDF before losing to Bantu on Thursday.

The Teyateyaneng outfit goes into this afternoon’s tie sitting fourth with 17 points from 10 matches.

Mokhothu said they must put the loss to Bantu behind them and focus on the job at hand.

“Bantu is a side with lots of quality but there are some positives from that match which we can build on into our next match with Kick4Life,” Mokhothu said.

“We have been struggling to get results lately and we are desperate for a win to boost our confidence.”

He is wary of the need to improve the team’s attacking proficiency.

“We have not been creating as many chances as we would have liked matches and we must work on that because it is only by creating chances that we can win.”

Mokhothu also bemoans his thin squad saying it sometimes limits them.

“The other challenge we are faced with is that our squad is thin. We don’t have the luxury of choosing from a large pool of players and it is challenging given that we have a congested fixture. However, we will work with what we have.”

Kick4Life coach Motebang Makhetha is expecting a tough match. After all, his side has been inconsistent lately.

“It is not going to be an easy match because Lioli are eager to start winning again but we are aware of that and our players are ready for the battle,” Makhetha said.

He attributed the team’s inconsistency to the slow adaptation of the team to his style.

“It will take time for my young players to understand the style but what is positive is that even when they lose, they come up with some positive elements.

“We are not too bad compared to other teams although this is not an excuse. We just have to find a way of continuously producing results.”

Kick4Life will be without the services of striker Mungezi Molokovane who is suspended and the coach is wary of the need for creativity.

In other matches today, Bantu will face LCS at Ratjomose Ground. Lifofane will be at home against in form Linare at Butha-Buthe Pitso Ground while Lijabatho will face LDF in Morija.

At LCS Ground, Likhopo will host Manonyane in the first of two matches Liphakoe will welcome LMPS in the second match.

Struggling Sefotha-Fotha will host Swallows at Ratjomose Ground. Matlama will face newbies CCX at LAC Ground in Leribe.
