‘MAMPITI Letsie from Tšakholo in Mafeteng yesterday won a brand new Chevrolet Utility mini-bakkie in the Vodacom Mega Millions competition.

Ms Letsie was the second winner of the competition from Tšakholo, after Napo Makhele won a similar prize on 16 May 2015.

Moshebi Ratlali, who hails from Ha Leqele, also won a Chevrolet Utility mini-bakkie at yesterday’s draw held at Sefika Complex.

Asked if there was something special about her village since she was the second person from the village to win the prize, Ms Letsie said: “No, there is nothing special really about Tšakholo; it’s just through the grace of God that we have won.”

According to Ms Letsie, who has two other vehicles, this was the first time she had entered any competition.

On the hand, Mr Ratlali told the Sunday Express that since he has South African registered cars, it has be “a hustle” for him to travel around Lesotho.

“It has been a bit of a problem because the three cars I have are registered in South Africa so this is going to make life much easier for me since this one is registered in Lesotho.”

Meanwhile, other lucky Basotho took home cash, grocery vouchers, smartphones, fridges and plasma television sets from yesterday’s draw.

A total of eleven cars remain in the competition.
