MASERU — National soccer team Likuena will play a friendly match against Botswana in Gaborone on Tuesday.
The national team is seeking a morale boasting win before the all important two-legged preliminary 2014 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Burundi in November.
Leslie Notši side’s squad leaves Maseru tomorrow.
Lesotho played two friendly against Swaziland last week. They played a goalless draw last Saturday before losing 1-0 on Monday.
Likuena were originally scheduled to play Botswana on August 10 but the game was cancelled after Botswana chose to play against Kenya instead.
The Burundi tie will be Lesotho’s first full international since September 2009, a 1-0 win over Mauritius in the Cosafa Senior Challenge.
