Lefa to respond to Lioli

MASERU — The Lesotho Football Association will issue a way forward in response to Lioli this week.
Last week, league champions Lioli wrote to Lefa saying the Premier League Management Committee is not fit to run football matters and that the Premier League Chairmen’s Forum should be disbanded.
“Our view is these two structures (PLMC and Chairmen’s Forum) have become a serious threat to our association since they are very weak and misdirected.
“To continue keeping the PLMC can only lead to more chaos and as such we recommend that it be disbanded with immediate effect,” Lioli said in the letter.
Approached for comment, Lefa’s acting chief executive officer Mokhosi Mohapi said the association would respond fully this week.
“We are going to deal with the matter next week,” Mohapi said on Friday.
Relations between Lioli and the Premiership management have been strained in recent weeks.
The Berea outfit have challenged the PLMC’s failure to account for funds and failure to provide clubs with utilities promised at the beginning of the season, among a host of grievances.
