INJURED LCS winger, Thabo Seakhoa, is likely to miss the first round of the premier league.

The speed merchant has not seen action after breaking his leg in a collision with Bantu goalkeeper, Thabo Silisa, in a league match towards the end of first round of last season.

The Ha-Mantšebo born winger recently told the Sunday Express that although he had started light training on his own, he would not risk a quick return to action as that could backfire.

“I have started rehabilitation and doing light training on my own as I need to heal completely before I start training with the rest of the team,” a frustrated Seakhoa said.

He said that he would undergo an x-ray scan at the Queen Mamohato Memorial Hospital on Tuesday.

“I still feel some pain in my feet so I can’t risk playing when I’m not completely healed. I will only know if I can start extreme training after the x-ray.”

The 24-year old star said it was frustrating watching from the sidelines and this had cost him his place in the senior national Likuena side.

He was in the 2016 Likuena squad that was knocked out in the quarter finals of the COSAFA tournament by eventual winners, South Africa.

“This is frustrating. I miss playing and on top of that I have lost my place in the national team. It is every players’ dream to represent their national team but there is nothing I can do at the moment but concentrate on getting well.

“Maybe afterwards, I can start thinking about getting back into the national team,” he said.
