KICK4LIFE are targeting to add on to Sefotha-fotha’s woes whet the two sides clash in a Vodacom Premier League match at Ratjomose Ground this afternoon.
The Old Europa outfit goes into the match sitting ninth in the table with 10 points following its 2-1 win over Swallows last weekend.
On the other hand, Sefotha-fotha have been enduring a tough time evidenced by their bottom place position with just two points. Last week, the side was thumped 4-1 by.
Kick4Life assistant coach Teboho Kokome said while today’s game will be tough, they will be out for maximum points.
“It is not going to be an easy match because Sefotha-fotha have been struggling and will want to overturn their fortunes,” Kokome said.
“They are not a bad side at all, so we be focused. Tactically, I think we are in a better position and the players are ready for the job at hand.”
Kick4Life have been inconsistent ever since the league resumed last month after a five months’ break. Kokome said their biggest challenge has been scoring.
“We have been inconsistent yes, but it was not because we have been poor. Even the matches that we have lost; you will realise that we conceded just one goal. Our problem has been the lack of scores but we have been working on that.
“The boys showed character against Swallows last weekend and we must continue on that same path if we are to become a competitive side.”
On his part, Sefotha-fotha assistant coach Solomon Lefuma also shared Kokome’s sentiments saying luck has been elusive. His team has also been working on its finishing.
“I think our biggest problem has been finishing because. Since the beginning of the season, we have only scored once, against Linare.
“However, we have been working on our shortcomings and hopefully things will be better now that we have scored the first goal,” Lefuma said.
While Sefotha-fotha are not expecting an easy match, they are also fighting to get out of the relegation zone.
“It is not going to be an easy match but we must move out of the relegation zone and that can only happen if we start winning our matches.
“We need the motivation and one win can change things. So, we are hopeful for positive results,” he said.
Sefotha-fotha will be without the services of winger Teboho Mokoma, who is serving the suspension after he was red carded against Linare.
In other league matches, today LMPS travel to Nyakosoba to take on rookies Manonyane while CCX will be at home against Swallows at Hlotse LCA Ground.
