THE Institute of Development Management (IDM) on Friday held the second edition of its annual Student Representative Council (SRC) inauguration party at the IDM campus in Maseru.
The party was held after the inauguration of the institute’s SRC at the same venue earlier on the day.
The inauguration after party featured performances by DJ Rochesta, Phackdj, 2Ball, DJ Prime, DJ Nirex, Terah and Thoso DJ.
Incoming IDM sports and entertainment president Mothusi Thibeli told the Xpress People that more parties are on the way to ensure that the students also get to have some fun.
“I plan to bring the IDM students nothing but entertainment during the one year when I will be their entertainment president and this party is the beginning of a long enjoyable journey we are taking together,” Thibeli said.
Outgoing SRC president, Karabo Lerotholi, said he was glad that the institute now has entertainment events which will help students lively.
He said in 2018 after their inauguration, they hosted the first successful inauguration after party and he was glad that they will also hold another one this year.
“Our school was known to be the most boring but with the developments that came with the outgoing SRC, one can tell that the future will not be the same,” Lerotholi said.
He further noted that he was glad that they are now active in sports another new introduction which started in 2018.
IDM is present in Botswana, eSwatini and Lesotho offering a variety of franchised and indigenous programmes that have a local, regional and global reach. They provide executive courses tailor-made for senior management, middle management and support staff to upgrade their competencies and enhance their commitment to lifelong learning.
