LIOLI attacking midfielder Luciano Matsoso has rubbished rumors doing rounds that he wants out of the Teyateyaneng outfit three months after joining from ABSA premiership side Black Leopards.

Matsoso who stayed for 18 months at Black Leopards, said he was happy at his new club. He signed a six months contract with Lioli which lapses in June.

The player has also fallen out with his management over his accommodation which is said to be gobbling large amounts of money monthly but he said the matter has already been put to bed.

“I am happy with everything at Lioli and I cannot complain about anything,” Matsoso said on Wednesday.

“The accommodation issue has been resolved although I am just out of the country due to the coronavirus induced break. I always try to talk to my coaches if something bothers me and I am happy. I decided to join Lioli because I love it and I am not leaving at least for now.”

He said although he was yet to reach his desired form, he is working hard to get into shape after a long injury spell at Leopards.

“When I came here, I had just returned from a lengthy injury spell so I must still work hard because people are expecting so much from me. The coaches also believe in me and I must repay their trust.”

Matsoso said he was fully committed to Lioli and would only consider leaving if he gets better offers outside the country.

“For now, my focus is on Lioli until my contract expires. I intend to stay until I get a better offer outside the country either in Europe or in South Africa. However, I would never leave Lioli for a local side.

“I am getting what I hoped to get here. Competition is tough and it that has helped me to quickly focus on getting into shape,” Matsoso said.
