SOUTH African Hip Hop disc spinner, DJ Vardz will headline next Saturday’s Chillin’ in the City event at Cuban Linx club in Maseru.

She will be share the stage with local acts such as Mr Maps, Shaixtacy, Hobbz, Trybz, Lobby and NINE24.

The Hip Hop and RnB mixer made a name for herself in her home country as well as Botswana by playing at the Back to the City Hip Hop Show.

This is her second visit to Lesotho after her appearance at the 2015 annual Summer Shake Down.

A representative of the organisers, Shakhane Sekoati said Vardz had a unique playing style that was sure to appeal to local revelers.

“Vardz maybe not be that popular in Lesotho but we are confident her style of blending old school Hip Hop, RnB and other recent styles will appeal to our clients,” Sekoati said.

“Most parties cater either for old school or the recent turn-up style but we want to bridge the gap between the two and Vardz is good at that.

“The local lineup will complement her style so we will have the best party in town.

“Bringing class into any event makes patrons feel special so we always try to bring an up market type setup of couches and also introduce accessories such as hubbly bubblies for those who would love to try them,” he said.
