IT was all fun and celebrations on Friday when telecommunications giant, Econet Telecom Lesotho, gave away more than M120 000 to lucky customers during the opening of its store on the second floor of the Roma Shopping Mall in Ha-Sekautu, Roma.

The store was previously located at the building opposite the National University of Lesotho and its relocation to a more spacious area will ensure that residents have full access to products and other services from the network.

To commemorate the relocation, Econet held various activities from morning till late afternoon including airtime and cash giveaways as well as song and dance performances.

The highlight of the day’s festivities was a draw and the awarding of cheques to winners of Econet’s monthly prize giveaways for the company’s four month-long Tšoara Bohle Hohle campaign.

Econet customers are automatically entered in the draw when they purchase M2, M5, M8, M10, M20 and M50 bundles and stand a chance of winning M2000, M5000, M8000, M10 000, M20 000 and M50 000 respectively.

On Friday, winners of the December 2019 cash prizes were presented with their dummy cheques since they had already been given their money. The January winners were also picked on that day.

Econet Public Relations Manager, Puleng Masoabi, said they when the campaign ends on 29 February, past winners and new entrants will be entered into a single draw where they stand a chance to win M100 000.

Upon introducing the Tšoara Bohle Hohle campaign, Econet went on to give Econet subscribers the privilege of calling all networks in Lesotho. The previous bundles allowed them to make calls to Econet numbers only. The promotion also guarantees Econet subscribers more browsing, streaming, downloading and chatting.
