ITS bonus time again! From this week Econet is giving customers 100 percent bonus on weekly calling bundles. Simply put, the 50 minutes that customers used to get for M10 have suddenly doubled to 100 minutes beginning this week.

And if that sounds too good to be true, then wait until you hear more. The M20 that used to give 120 minutes now doubles to 240 minutes. From M30, customers now get 360 minutes instead of the usual 180 minutes which is equivalent to six hours of nonstop talking. The 400 minutes that used to give M50 has suddenly doubled to a whopping 800 minutes.

The promotion is not for December alone as it will last until February next year and there is even a possibility that it might continue beyond then. To understand how big that is, customers have to consider that these amounts translate to more than 13 hours of talking.

Econet’s Product Manager: Voice, Ntsetseng Letsae, said the idea is to help people communicate during the festive season.

“This is a time of the year when people reach out to their loved ones to plan gatherings and as Econet we are saying: here is our contribution to that communication,” said Ms Letsae in this week’s interview.

Ms Letsae reiterated that since the promotion will last until February next year, the communication should continue into the New Year.

“We are saying here are bonus minutes that will help you keep in touch with the loved ones even after the festive season in order to help you plan the year ahead,” said Ms Letsae.

These weekly bundles last seven days and Econet customers can access them through *100#
