FIVE families yesterday walked away with an array of prizes during DStv Lesotho’s inaugural “Family Summer Game Show” at Maseru Mall.

The families went home with cash prizes, airtime, camp chairs, grocery vouchers and DStv subscriptions among other goodies for answering questions about the channels and programmes offered by the digital satellite service.

The participants were chosen from a pool of customers who upgraded from their previous DSTV packages. During the campaign, which is set to last until 25 January 2016, two Datsun Go cars, 20 plasma television sets, 20 DStv Explora packages, 20 DStv subscriptions,70 cash prizes, 70 Grocery hampers and 70 airtime vouchers are up for grabs.

On behalf of the game show participants, Liteboho Tlebere said his subscription had earned him much more than the quality programming DStv offers.

“My family is grateful for winning a plasma television set as well as the grocery vouchers, airtime and cash prizes we will be going home with today,” Mr Tlebere said.

“These prizes have motivated us to continue to being loyal DStv subscribers, and I also urge Basotho to subscribe to DStv and upgrade their packages.”

On her part, Dstv Lesotho Sales and Marketing Manager, Refiloe Mohlotsane, said the “Family Summer Game Show” would be held every two weeks until the end of January.

“The aim of the game show is to give our valued customers a chance to improve their lives. We want them to access better and bigger channels that are informative, entertaining, and educative for each member of the family by simply upgrading their bouquets,” said Ms Mohlotsane.

“Our channels offer a wide range of affordable packages to choose from, and by simply choosing to upgrade from any stage between Easy View to the Premium package, subscribers stand a chance to win in the competition.”

She said customers could upgrade their packages at any Puretec, Life’s Comfort Solutions, Kaybon, and Post Offices found within the country.

“DStv will be hosting the show every two weeks at Maseru Mall where customers who upgrade will stand a chance to win these great prizes,” Ms Mohlotsane said.
