SOUTH African musician Anatii is set to perform at the inaugural edition of the Vibes Party scheduled for 15 December 2018 at the ‘Manthabiseng Convention Centre.

The event will be co-hosted by local entertainment outfit Vibes in collaboration with a South African company, Jumanji.

Organisers told the Xpress People that they were pleased to bring Anatii to the country on his debut tour.

“Anatii’s involvement is due to the fact that he has never performed in Lesotho and he is currently high flying with his second solo album Iyeza,” Rorisang Tlebere, the marketing and promotions manager of Brand Creatives Inc’s who are promoting the event said.

Other performers at the show include South Africans Chad da Don, Focalistic and L’ZaaX Xaka de Banza.

Tlebere said the idea behind such a long line-up of foreign artistes is to create a cross networking platform for local artistes through Vibes and Jumanji.

“Jumanji organise an event similar to ours and in turn invite us to bring a variety of our own artistes and DJs to perform in South African,” he said.

He further said that they intend to hold the event regularly and ensure that they also promote local artistes in South Africa.

Tlebere said they have introduced Vibes as a lifestyle brand to promote local cuisine, music and visual art.

“This collaboration with Jumanji was our way to branch out of our local sphere and help give our people a platform to express themselves in a different setting,” Tlebere said

He said although the line-up looks one sided, they have a solid plan of action to balance it.

He added that one local artiste, Gee Flaggz, will also be launch his new album titled Classics at the event.

Tlebere said they will also give local entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their products and services at the event.
