Hot DJ party set for Mafeteng

MAFETENG — Kuna Sounds have lined-up a star-studded cast for a party that promises to bring Montana in Mafeteng to a standstill on Christmas Day.
Well-known South African deejays, Nyakallo “Ba2cada” Leine and Seipati “Twasa” Seoke — who are also Leseli FM radio presenters — will perform at the bash.
Some of Lesotho’s finest DJs, namely Javas, Tseko, Counter Force, Bootz and Finzo — as well as local rap artistes — are also billed to perform at the mother-of-all-parties, which is expected to spill into the wee hours of Boxing Day.
According to DJ Tseko, the idea behind the potentially explosive bash is to ‘reduce boredom’ on Christmas Day and illuminate an otherwise sombre day of religious rumination.
“Christmas days are boring; people go to church, have lunch and stay at home, bored to death.
“We decided to come up with something that will lessen the boredom; make the day special,” Tseko said.
He said the presence of two of South Africa’s most popular disc jockeys was meant to familiarise Basotho with personalities they otherwise only knew through radio.
“Basotho should not only listen to South African DJs on radio; they should also know them in person,” DJ Tseko said.
He has promised the most exciting music feast ever — a party every reveller looking for fun should not dare miss.
“People will not regret going to this party. E tlo ba ntat’a tsona,” he said.
DJ Tseko says security will be tight, so fans can enjoy their night in peace.
“Security will be tight; everyone will be safe,” he said.
This will be Ba2cada’s second visit to Lesotho in as many months after performing at yet another bash in Leribe on November 14.
